Sun Bets Enhanced Odds Review

Please bear in mind that Sun Bets closed its website. Find a wide range of other betting websites, bookmakers, enhanced offers, reviews on our Daily Enhanced website!

They may be one of the newer bookmakers to go online but Sun Bets haven’t been slow to get involved with enhanced odds deals. These have been relatively hard to find up until now but after the operator published deals for Royal Ascot and the start of the Premier League football season in 2017, we expect them to get busier in the months that lie ahead.

If you haven’t picked up on them so far, here’s what we’ve found from Sun Bets to date.

Sun Bets Enhanced Offers

The most notable offers have been for new customers: Initially, ahead of Royal Ascot 2017, Sun Bets were offering an enhanced 33/1 on Frankie Dettori to win any race across the five days but when the popular jockey withdrew due to injury, the promo was switched.

Aidan O’Brien became the focus and any new customer could claim that same 33/1 if the trainer produced any winner at the meeting. Later on in the festival, the bookie also published a deal that quoted 33/1 on favourite Caravaggio to win the Commonwealth Cup.

Prior to that, Sun Bets produced a very interesting enhanced deal on the Premier League. When the fixtures were announced in early June 2017, you had 24 hours to bet on a game and get a boosted 25/1 in any result market.

We’re also seeing a number of price boosts for existing customers too. Examples of these include 7/1 from 5/1 on Sam Billings to top score for England in a T20 match against South Africa, a boosted 9/1 on either Sergio Garcia or Tommy Fleetwood to win the BMW International Golf and an enhanced 11/2 on both Mori and Order of St George to win their respective races at Royal Ascot.

Participating Sports

For new customer enhanced offers, we’ve only seen horse racing and football being offered up so far but that’s a positive start. The horses don’t always get coverage for this type of bet so it’s good that Sun Bets have already included them and their recent rise in activity suggests we could see more sports being offered in the future.

For the existing customer price boosts, these could come from any sport so we would recommend checking our news feeds together with Sun Bets’ own Twitter account which is very active and gives details of most of these deals.

Significant terms

While terms are subject to change and you should check all ts and cs before going ahead, the enhanced offers that we’ve seen so far all seem to follow similar rules. The maximum stake allowable is £1.00 and you will receive profits at the book price straight back into your account while the balance, up to the published price boost, arrives as free bet tokens.

With the existing player price boosts, there is no maximum stake beyond the bookie’s usual rules in this respect and you can expect to see all returns arriving in your account as cash. Once again, please check all terms as and when these deals come through.

Banking

We recommend that with all promotions you fund your account via a debit card as selected eWallets are usually excluded from this type of deal. In the case of Sun Bets, they make things a little easier and at present, only debit cards are acceptable means of depositing.

Once again, terms may vary so check them in relation to the individual offer but expect to have to credit a minimum of £5.00 to get started.

Sun Bets Overview

Sun Bets are a new bookmaker and these offers could certainly give you more value than their standard welcome deal of £10.00 as a free bet. The value here comes from the strong prices so, if you are a regular bettor looking for a longer term relationship, this could definitely be an outlet to consider.

Backed by the Sun newspaper brand, it’s also a lively community here and social media accounts are also worth a follow.

Summary

Sun Bets look as if they have been testing the water in terms of enhanced odds offers but we could expect these to increase in the months that follow. The prices involved at around 25/1 to 33/1 are exceptional and they also tend to focus on events with a high likelihood of dropping in.

The regular customer price boosts give good value too, with up to 2 points being involved in some cases so this bookmaker is a welcome addition to the world of enhanced odds promos.

Pros

  • Choice of offers for both new and existing customers
  • Promos have been listed in a number of sports with horse racing included
  • High prices quoted in relation to other similar deals from elsewhere

Cons

  • Terms have been fairly rigid. That’s not necessarily a negative but some may prefer to be able to stake more than the fixed amount of £1.00.
